"I could give up shopping, but I'm no quitter." What's up, fellow shopaholics?! This weekend I decided to take part in the $20 Outfit Challenge, which is exactly what is sounds like! I had $20 to find a complete outfit: top, bottom, and one accessory. Keep reading to find out how I managed this miraculous feat. ;) Let me just begin by saying THIS IS A HARD FREAKING CHALLENGE. I love a good deal, and figured I would be able to find all kinds of options if I searched enough stores, but I seriously shopped for 5 hours and hardly found anything that would qualify. (I did all of my shopping in the mall, which was totally part of the problem.) I will say, I did find plenty of "plain jane" camis and t-shirts for around $5 in several places, but I didn't want to settle for that. Lame! So I shopped my little heart out until I found something that I actually thought was cute, unique, and something that I would want to wear again.
And there you have it!! I had tons of fun with this challenge and would love to see what looks you could pull together for $20 or less. Let me know what you think, and if you have a challenge that you'd like to see me do next, leave a request HERE!
