This past weekend, Kolton & I took a mini road trip to Temecula to check out the CUTEST Disney themed winery ever, Briar Rose Winery. The drive was totally worth it, and we had the most magical time. Perfect for a Disney Princess I.R.L. ;)

First of all- the place is absolutely GORGEOUS and had the cutest Disney inspo across the entire property. The name, of course, was inspired by our girl Aurora, and each bottle of wine has an enchanted rose on it. *Swoon* Their indoor space is designed to look like Snow White's cottage, and the rest of the property is sprinkled with real Disney memorabilia like Haunted Mansion lamps, actual boulders from the Indiana Jones ride, and other magical little finds. The creator of the grounds was an Imagineer for Disney and helped to create ToonTown, Indiana Jones, and more. How cool is that?!

For the tasting, Kolton went with reds & I went with whites so that we could try every option on their menu. They definitely did not disappoint! Our server, Brandon, was an absolute doll and entertained us with fun facts about each bottle he brought out. During the tasting, we had the opportunity to roam around, swing on their cute little swing, and go on a seven dwarfs scavenger hunt. I probably said "Awww Kolton, isn't this so cute!" like 50 times.  For the grand finale, I got to try their Talking Frog Wine Lager, which was definitely my FAVORITE! (And, hello, the packaging is adorable) And Kolt tried an award winning red wine that has been served at the White House (ooh la la!), which was one of his favorites. 

We had the best experience at Briar Rose Winery and would definitely recommend taking the drive from Disneyland to Temecula to add some "adulting" fun to your next Disney trip! The cutest venue, the best staff, and the yummiest drinks. :)

SUMMER DATE IDEAS:

• Destroy Each Other at the Arcade

Our favorite arcade is Two Bit Circus, which is a virtual reality arcade with games, a fun bar, good food, escape rooms, and even a live game show. If you enjoy being competitive, this is for you. But like, don't be too competitive or you might come home hating each other... You've been warned! Even if you don't have a VR arcade near you, your basic old rundown arcade is just as fun, and probably wayyy cheaper. Yay for nostalgia!

• Go on a Hike

​Hikes are great when you don't want to spend any hard earned moolah, but you still need to get the heck out of the house. Kolt and I have had tons of fun hiking the trails close to us, and we especially love bringing our doggoe along. I'm a weirdo and obsessed with waterfalls, so it was especially fun to hike this trail to a natural waterfall. PS- Don't forget the snacks, mmkay. ​
