"Ride like the wind, Bullseye!" - Woody Only have one day at the Happiest Place on Earth? Never fear! Princess Emmy is here with a list of my TOP 5 tips and tricks to get the most out of your one day park ticket! 1. Download the Disneyland App. I repeat: DOWNLOAD THE APP! The Disneyland App can literally save you HOURS of valuable park time, so take my advice and download the app before you get to the park. Once it's downloaded- make sure you've created a Disney account and get logged in, so you're all set to go! The App has so many useful features including the interactive park map, mobile food ordering, today's showtimes, and my personal fave- MaxPass! (See #3 for more on this!) 2. Arrive to the park at rope drop. I get it, Sleeping Beauty, I do! You want to catch those zzz's, but this is one time where you should definitely get up early and get to the parks right when they open! You'll be fighting less crowds AND you'll have first access to the attractions and the FASTPASSES that you want most! Which leads me to tip #3... 3. Pay the extra $15 to add MaxPass to your ticket. Trust me on this one- it's SO worth it! MaxPass can be added to your ticket via the Disneyland App once you and all members of your party are inside the park- Do this right away! MaxPass allows you to book FASTPASSES for high demand attractions right from your phone, and if you have one, you get to twirl your way right past the stand-by line, cutting your wait times wayyy down. If you use this feature efficiently, you'll totally get on twice the rides you would have without it. 4. Start your day at the back of the park. Don't fall into the front-of-the-park trap! The front of the park is naturally where everyone begins their day. So, if you scoot your booty to the back immediately, you'll get on tons of rides with minimal wait times. Then, you can make your way back to the front of the park later in the day and soak up alllll those castle views, princess. 5. Have a list of must-do rides and attractions. There are just sooo many amazing things to see and do at Disneyland, that it's best to go in with a list of your top 10 things that you have to do while you're there! If you're heading to the park with a group, have each person pick their top 2 or 3 must-do's so that everyone leaves a happy camper. A list will help you keep track of which attractions to prioritize when choosing FASTPASS selections and when deciding which areas of the park you will need to spend the most time in. There you have it boys & girls! Let me know if you try these out on your trip, and give Mickey a smooch for me! ;)
